Friday will be warm and humid with rain chances as high as 70%.
Rain will start along the coast in the late morning to early afternoon, according to NWS Melbourne.
It’s expected to push into the interior from mid-to-late afternoon into the early evening.
Primary storm threats are cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, downpours that could lead to minor flooding and multiple rounds of rain in the same location.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are also possible.
Temperatures are all in the high 80s, except for Okeechobee with a high of 90 degrees, according to NWS Melbourne.
There is a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents at area beaches.
